Mishimoto also designed the system to improve airflow, with a 10% reduction in airflow restriction compared to the factory setup. During testing on a Stage 1 tuned M5, Mishimoto recorded intake temperature drops of up to 24°F and gains of 25 WHP and 22 WTQ.
