The JQ Werks Madtrace® GEN2 PODIUM Line Racing Steering Wheel System represents the most advanced steering control solution available for the BMW E9X M3 chassis equipped with factory M steering wheel buttons. Exclusive to the PODIUM and FORMULA product lines, the integrated CAN + LIN bus architecture unlocks 40+ additional OEM vehicle functions (chassis-dependent), all accessible directly from the steering wheel—without altering factory wiring.

Supported functions may include:

• Turn signals

• High beam flash

• Windshield wipers

• Traction control and chassis adjustments

• Shift light activation

• Additional vehicle-specific controls

All functions are handled internally through the Madtrace hub, preserving OEM electronics integrity.

MadtraceLAB™ 1.0 Software

The PODIUM Line is fully configurable via MadtraceLAB™, providing a centralized platform for:

• Button layout configuration

• Firmware updates via integrated USB-C port

• Profile creation and management

• Future feature expansion support

All settings can be adjusted either through MadtraceLAB™ or the optional Driver Information Display (DID).

Multi-Profile Button Mapping

Integrated RevLEDs shift lights provide real-time RPM feedback through the CAN bus:

• Sequential LED illumination as redline approaches

• Full red flash at optimal shift point

• Ultra-low latency response for precision gear changes on track

Optional OLED Driver Information Display (DID)

The optional OLED DID module replaces the standard horn cap and adds:

Optional Dual Paddle Configuration

An available dual-paddle upgrade adds two additional programmable paddles:
