Performance Intercooler Kit For Mercedes G63 AMG

The Wagner Tuning Performance Intercooler Kit is a high-efficiency cooling upgrade for the Mercedes-AMG G63 W463A with the M177 4.0L biturbo V8 engine.

Designed to improve charge-air cooling, reduce back-pressure, and support stronger performance, this intercooler gives the G63 better airflow and more consistent power delivery under load. With a larger core and increased charge-air volume, it helps keep intake temperatures lower during hard acceleration, spirited driving, and tuned applications.

The intercooler features core dimensions of 430 mm x 200 mm x 102 mm and a total charge-air volume of 8.8 liters, which is approximately 72.5% larger than the factory unit. This added volume helps improve cooling capacity and supports stronger performance across the rev range. Wagner’s CAD-designed free-form end tanks help optimize internal airflow while reducing back-pressure by up to 34%.

Built for durability, the intercooler uses a high-quality anti-corrosion coating with strong thermal transfer properties. It is pressure-tested up to 6 bar, making it suitable for both stock and performance-tuned vehicles. Despite its larger size, the unit weighs only 12.6 kg and is designed as a direct plug-and-play replacement for the factory intercooler.
