NRW Catch Can Project Kit (BMW S65)

The NRW Catch Can Project Kit is a hardware solution built to improve crankcase ventilation control on the BMW S65, especially once the car is tuned or supercharged. As blow-by increases with age and higher load, the factory oil separators can struggle to keep up. When that happens, oil vapor and contaminants get routed back through the intake path, which can contribute to power loss, higher crankcase pressure, and reduced efficiency over time.

This kit replaces the factory separator function with NRW CNC block-off plates, redirecting blow-by (oil mist, fuel vapor, and crankcase gases) through an external catch can setup instead of back into the intake. The goal is simple: keep the intake tract cleaner, reduce crankcase pressure, and improve consistency in how the engine runs under load.

What this kit does

• Deletes the factory separator routing using NRW block-off plates

• Routes crankcase vapors to a proper external catch can system

• Helps reduce:

  • Oil residue on throttle bodies / plenum / valves

  • Unwanted crankcase pressure buildup

  • Intake contamination on higher-mileage or modified cars

• OEM BMW gaskets included (easy replacements through OEM supply)

• Washer relocation bracket is a direct drop-in (no modification required)

• Includes an ESS reservoir relocation bracket for supercharged setups (or future plans)

• Fully reversible, hardware-only approach

• Black anodized / powder coated components for long-term durability

• Typical install time: ~1 hour or less (varies by configuration)
